So what is the 5C Challenge and what does it stand for?

The 5C challenge can be a very easy yet powerful way to support and care for both orphaned and neglected children with very little effort on your part.

5C stands for the five words all beginning with “C” that when coupled together can change a child’s life forever. In case you were wondering, those five words are:

• Care
• Commit
• Coffee
• Children
• Change

In a nut shell the 5C challenge is:

All about people that care enough to willingly commit to sacrificing the cost of a least one premium priced cup of coffee each month in order to provide for impoverished children and change their lives for all eternity!

How does the 5C challenge work?

For people that are willing, they would simply sacrifice the luxury of a least one premium cup of coffee each month and in doing so transfer that savings automatically and directly into supporting children in need through a recurring monthly gift.

So how do I know how much a cup of coffee costs and how much to give?

Don’t worry we’ve done all the math for you! Averaging out a standard coffee price menu for a well known international coffee house we have concluded that the average cost for a premium  cup of coffee with tax equals $4.04.

Now that may not seem like much, but let me tell you that because our ministry’s overhead and the ministries we partner with is low and because of the location of where our ministry partners will apply your gift, it will truly go a long way.

In addition your gift will be coupled with the gift of others to create the sum needed to care for these children that would otherwise have no one!

So what does your gift help provide?

In general the money you donate each month will go towards necessary items like food, clothing, care providers, education, healthcare, and the maintenance and costs of the facilities which cares for them. More specifically with a gift of just $6.00 a month we can provide food for one child to receive one meal a day, six days a week for a month. A meal they probably would not receive otherwise. All for just $6.00.
